An introduction to 5 beginner-friendly games to awaken your dog’s inner hunter
Join me for a 5-day hands-on experience with five fun, simple foundation games I use with puppies and trainee detection dogs at the very start of their training journey. They’re playful, effective, and designed to spark motivation and focus.
Whether you're just looking for new ways to engage your dog, curious about starting Detection training, or already active in Detection and looking for some new game ideas, this is a great place to start.
What you'll get
- A new game each day – with clear, step-by-step instructions
- A short daily debrief to help you reflect and build on your progress
- Access to a private Facebook group for feedback, support and celebration.
All you need is: Your dog, some food, a favourite ball or toy, and a little curiosity. This is entry-level training, and it’s meant to be fun. You don’t need to be working or competing in Detection — it’s a more general, light hearted approach than my more specialised Toy Motivation for Search Dogs DIY course.
International participants are always welcome. If you're in a different time zone, just catch up and train when it suits you.
Fee: £27
Price is per person. You're welcome to participate with more than one dog.
