By using this website and purchasing the services and products advertised here, you consent to the following terms and conditions.
1. Online Content
The Site itself, as well as all content, videos, training materials, products, services and/or other materials, made available on the Site by us or other third parties, as well as the look and feel of all of the foregoing (collectively referred to as the "Content”) are maintained for your personal use and information by On Target K9, (the “Company”) and are the property of the Company and/or its third party providers.
Company Content shall include all proprietary videos, HTML/CSS, Javascript, graphics, voice and sound recordings, artwork, photos, documents, and text as well as all other materials included in the Site. Subject to your compliance with these terms, the Company hereby grants you a limited license, which is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable, to access, view, and use the Site solely for your personal purposes.
No Company Content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, distributed, used for public or commercial purposes, or downloaded in any way unless written permission is expressly granted by the Company. Modification of the Content or use of the Content for any other purpose is a violation of the copyright and other proprietary rights of the Company, as well as other authors who created the materials. You may not distribute, modify, transmit or use the content of the Site or any Content, including any and all software, tools, graphics and/or sound files, for public or commercial purposes without the written permission of the Company.
2. Copyright
All Content, such as text, data, graphics files, videos and sound files, and other materials contained in the Site, are copyrighted unless otherwise noted and are the property of the Company and/or a supplier to the Company. No such materials may be used without written permission.
3. Trade names, trademarks, images and biographical information
All trade names, trademarks, images and biographical information of people used in the Company Content and contained in the Site, are either the property of, or used with permission by, the Company. The use of Content by you is strictly prohibited unless specifically agreed. Any unauthorised use of Content may violate the copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights of the Company and/or third parties, as well as the laws of privacy, publicity, and other regulations and statutes. The Company has the right, but no obligation, to remove content and accounts containing materials that it deems, in its sole discretion, to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these terms.
4. Intellectual Property and Licence to Use Content
All course materials, videos, documents, written content, training exercises, frameworks, methods, graphics, audio, and any other materials provided as part of a programme, webinar, replay, or service (“Content”) remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Company unless otherwise stated.
Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Content for your personal use only. This licence does not grant you any ownership rights in the Content.
You agree that you will not: • copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, share, or publish any Content without written permission from the Company; • upload Content to shared drives, marketplaces, social media, or any online platform accessible by others; • share access to any programme, course, replay, or membership area with any third party; • use the Content to teach, instruct, train, or deliver services to others, whether commercially or non-commercially; • record, screenshot, or download Content except where this is expressly permitted.
Any breach of this licence may result in immediate removal of access without refund, and the Company reserves the right to pursue legal remedies where appropriate. The Company retains all rights to update, modify, or withdraw Content at any time for technical, legal, or operational reasons.
5. Accuracy of information
While the Company uses reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information in the Site, the Company makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy. The Company assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of the Site.
6. Opt-in
When you register with the Company and/or this Site, you consent to receive notices, announcements, agreements, disclosures, reports, documents, communications concerning products or services, or other records or correspondence from the Company. You consent to receiving notices electronically by way of transmitting the notice to you by email.
7. Comments or suggestions about the Site
Comments or suggestions about the Site sent to the Company shall become and remain the sole property of and subject to unrestricted use by the Company. This includes, but is not limited to notes, text, drawings, images, designs or computer programmes.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
The Company processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French data protection law. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may collect and process personal information such as your name, contact details, purchase history, training submissions, images and videos you choose to upload, and communications with the Company. This information is used for the purpose of delivering our services, maintaining your account, providing support, and improving our offerings.
Where you upload videos or images of your dog for training feedback, you confirm that you have the right to share such content and that doing so does not infringe the rights or privacy of any third parties (including their likeness or property).
We will never sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers (such as payment processors or learning platforms) solely for the purpose of delivering our services.
For full details on how your personal data is collected, stored, and used, and for information on your rights, please refer to our Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to review the Privacy Policy regularly for updates.
9. Disclosure of information
The Company will not intentionally disclose any personally identifying information about you to third parties, except where the Company, in good faith, believes such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law or enforce these terms. By using the Site, you signify your acceptance of the Company’s Privacy Policy.
10. Third party services
The Company shall not be responsible for performance or service problems caused by any third party website or third party service provider (including, for example, your web service provider, payment services, your software and/or any updates or upgrades to that software). Any such problem shall be governed solely by the agreement between you and that provider.
Please check your software requirements and test your connection before you attend a live webinar. Where a moderator is available, they will endeavour to assist with suggestions, their main priority at that time will be to keep the group event on track.
11. Event booking
Training events involve planning, deposits and other commitments for instructors, venues and equipment. Therefore, for your place to be confirmed, payment is due in full at time of booking.
Details about our seminars, workshops and webinars are provided by the Company on the relevant event page. Please make sure to read them and ask for any clarification, to help make sure you are booking the right event for you and your dog.
Unless final event details (venue etc) have not been provided on the booking page, you generally won't be sent correspondence beyond your payment confirmation. You won’t need a ticket to attend a live event, but can bring a printout of your order or payment confirmation if you don't expect to have it accessible in your Email account on your smartphone. For webinars bookings, you should receive your join link around the same time as you receive your payment confirmation, if you haven't and it is not in your Spam folder either please contact us immediately. The place you booked is yours only and anyone else joining you will need to have booked their own. Should you want somebody to attend the event in your place however, you can offer them your place as long as you inform us, with their consent, of their name and contact details (Email address and phone number – mobile if possible). We don’t send another set of confirmations to the new attendee, so please make sure to have passed on all relevant information.
If you are looking to transfer a place obtained through an application and selection process, the Company will need to be involved in the transfer. In some cases where a waiting list exists we may already have somebody lined up, but in any case, the new attendee will also need to be approved by us.
12. Payments, Instalments and Subscription Terms
Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase, unless an instalment plan or subscription option is expressly offered at checkout. Where an instalment plan is selected, you agree to complete all payments in accordance with the payment schedule. Instalment payment plans do not constitute a “pay-as-you-go” model; they are a method of spreading the total fee over time, and the full programme fee remains payable regardless of your level of participation.
If a payment fails, the system may automatically retry the payment. The Company reserves the right to suspend access to all programme materials, communities, coaching, or services until the outstanding payment is received. Continued non-payment may result in removal from the programme entirely, without refund of any payments already made.
Chargebacks or payment disputes filed with your bank or payment provider are treated as a breach of these Terms. The Company reserves the right to dispute any chargeback and provide evidence of your agreement to these Terms, including your acceptance of the non-refundable nature of digital products and coaching services.
If you enrol in a subscription-based service or membership, you authorise recurring payments to be taken automatically according to the billing cycle stated at checkout. You may request cancellation at any time; however, cancellation will take effect at the end of any stated minimum commitment period. All payments due within that period remain payable. Cancellation prevents future payments only and does not entitle you to a refund for any previous billing periods. Access to subscription content will continue until the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated.
The Company is not responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion charges, or third-party payment processing fees incurred as part of your purchase.
13. Refunds
If you can no longer attend a dated event or scheduled programme, you may transfer your place (see above). Refunds are not normally available for dated events or scheduled programmes, so please contact us as soon as you realise you cannot attend in case transfer options exist. When an event or programme is fully booked, we may have a waiting list or be able to help spread the word to assist you in finding a suitable replacement, but the responsibility for transfer ultimately lies with you.
Bookings for live webinars are strictly non-refundable. If you cannot attend live, a replay will normally be made available for you to watch afterwards.
Purchases of online programmes, webinar replays, and other digital content are non-refundable. Please also refer to sections 13.1 and 13.2 for important information regarding digital products, coaching programmes, and EU withdrawal rights.
13.1 Digital Products – Withdrawal Waiver & Refund Policy For online courses, digital downloads, webinar replays, and other digital content, access is provided immediately upon purchase. By completing the purchase, you expressly request immediate access to the digital content. You acknowledge that, in accordance with EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), once access is granted you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal for digital products supplied immediately. All digital product sales are therefore final and non-refundable.
13.2 Coaching & Service Programmes – Withdrawal Waiver & Refund Policy By purchasing any coaching, mentoring or service-based programme, you agree that the service begins immediately. This immediate commencement includes reserving your place, allocating coaching capacity and resources for you, and granting access to any programme materials provided as part of the service, as applicable. In accordance with EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you acknowledge that by agreeing to an immediate start of the service, you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal, even if your first scheduled session has not yet taken place or your official start date is at a later time. All coaching programme sales are therefore final and non-refundable.
14. Event cancellation
On the rare occasion that instruction cannot take place as planned for reasons like speaker’s illness, unsuitable weather (note that most events take place in any weather) or other reasons beyond the Company's control, you will be informed as soon as possible, via the contact details submitted with your order. The event will be re-scheduled, respectively the programme extended, otherwise the fees paid by you will be credited to you as a voucher towards another event. You can alternatively request a refund of this credit, minus any applicable processing fee.
Note that any non-refundable third party fees already incurred, such as payment processing fees, deposits paid to venues etc, may also be deducted.
Please note that the Company cannot accept liability beyond the actual training, e.g. for your travel fares or accommodation.
15. Content
When you enrol in an online programme, you will be granted access to the relevant learning materials through our online platform. Certain programmes may also include instructor-led coaching, live support sessions, feedback, or other interactive components, as described in the programme information provided at the time of purchase. The duration and scope of your access to such materials shall be specific to the programme purchased and communicated accordingly.
Training results are not guaranteed. You acknowledge that all training content provided by the Company is for educational purposes only. Progress and skill development depend on numerous factors, including but not limited to the dog’s aptitude, motivation, prior training experience, environmental conditions, and the owner’s consistency in applying the training guidance. The Company does not warrant or guarantee the achievement of any specific training result or performance standard.
For clarity, the Company does not provide behaviour modification, behavioural rehabilitation, or services for treating behavioural issues. Any behavioural concerns or safety risks arising during training remain the responsibility of the owner, and you are advised to seek appropriate professional or veterinary support where required.
Access to webinar replays purchased through the Catch-up page is granted for the lifetime of the product. For the purposes of these Terms, “lifetime of the product” refers to the period during which the Company continues to host and make the replay available. The Company reserves the right to withdraw or retire digital content where necessary for technical, legal, or operational reasons, provided that reasonable notice is given where practicable. The Company does not guarantee perpetual availability of any specific digital item.
The Company may from time to time engage guest instructors or third-party speakers to deliver webinars, workshops, or other events. Such individuals are responsible for the content they provide. The Company shall not be held liable for any opinions, statements, advice, or representations made by guest instructors, nor for the accuracy or completeness of promotional information supplied by them. Any feedback, queries, or concerns relating to the content of a guest-led event should be directed to the relevant instructor.
16. Community Conduct and Online Groups
Some programmes may include access to online communities, Facebook groups, or other group forums. By participating in any such community, you agree to conduct yourself respectfully and to follow all guidelines set out by the Company.
You understand that any advice, comments, or content posted by other participants represents their personal views and experiences, and not those of the Company. The Company is not responsible for, and does not endorse, any user-generated content, nor can it guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of any advice shared by other participants.
You agree not to: • post content that is offensive, harmful, defamatory, misleading, or inappropriate; • share screenshots, videos, or information from the group outside the community; • upload material that infringes intellectual property rights; • give training advice to others that may put dogs or handlers at risk; • solicit business or promote services without written permission from the Company.
The Company reserves the right to moderate, remove, or restrict any content or participant at its sole discretion where conduct is deemed inappropriate or disruptive, or where safety or wellbeing is at risk. No refund will be issued if you are removed from a group or community due to a breach of these terms.
You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your dog when applying any advice shared within the group. Online communities are intended for support and discussion only, and do not replace personalised coaching or professional guidance.
17. Photos and video
The Company may use training photos or videos for social media, advertising or instructional use. If you do not wish to appear in them, please let the photographer or other person in charge know at the beginning of the event. You are not expected to give a reason.
You are welcome to further share photos or videos already shared on social media by the Company, provided that any watermarks remain included. Should anything not be watermarked, please add: ‘Photo credit: On Target K9‘ (including website link).
The Company can, in some cases, provide photos that are not watermarked, please contact us to discuss. Any potential use of our photos and videos for the purposes of promoting your business must be agreed in writing.
Please refrain from taking photos, videos or any other recordings without prior agreement. Some speakers restrict the use of event footage, and/or other attendees may not want to appear in it.
18. Practicalities on the day for live events
Should you arrive early, in most cases doors open 15 minutes before start time. We recognise that some of our attendees travel from further away and where toilet facilities are available we will aim to make them accessible earlier.
Should you be running late and it is safe to do so, please send a short message to let us know.
Make sure to dress appropriately for the event and have the necessary equipment as well as food and drink.
19. Workshops with dogs
All dogs attending a workshop must be fully protected by vaccination (boosters at required intervals or titre testing). Do not bring a sick or injured dog to a workshop. You are welcome to attend without your dog; however, the Company cannot refund or reduce your handler fee. You may be able to transfer your handler place to another person (see above) and purchase a spectator place instead.
Some events do not require dogs to work in close proximity to others, including dogs who may not be comfortable around other dogs (including bitches in season). Please read the event details carefully and contact us before booking if you are unsure whether your dog is suitable to attend.
During a workshop, you are responsible for the supervision, control, and safety of your dog at all times. Keep your dog close, under control, and on a lead unless instructed otherwise for a specific exercise. Do not allow your dog to approach other dogs or people, in or outside the training area, without the explicit consent of the other handler.
The instructor working on behalf of the Company reserves the right to remove a dog and handler from the workshop if they consider the dog’s behaviour, welfare, or health to be unsuitable or if they believe a situation is not being managed safely. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
Handlers are responsible for ensuring their dog’s welfare throughout the workshop, including providing appropriate rest, hydration, and weather protection. If you believe an exercise is unsuitable for your dog, or if your dog requires a break, please inform the instructor.
Should your dog relieve themselves at any point, inside or outside the training area, please clean up immediately and dispose of waste in a suitable bin.
20. Liability and Participation
By participating in any online programme, coaching session, webinar, or other service provided by the Company, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
You are fully responsible for your dog’s behaviour and safety during all training and practice activities, including those carried out independently between coaching sessions. Training involves physical and mental activity, and you undertake all training at your own risk.
You confirm that your dog is in good physical health, suitable for training, and not presenting any behavioural concerns that may pose a risk to themselves, other dogs, or people. The Company does not provide behaviour modification or behavioural rehabilitation services. If you have concerns about your dog's behaviour or health, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate veterinary or professional advice before engaging in training.
You agree to follow all training guidance, handling instructions, and safety recommendations provided by the Company. You understand that you carry out training exercises at home or in other environments of your choosing, and the Company cannot supervise these conditions. You accept full responsibility for ensuring your training environment is safe and appropriate.
The Company cannot be held liable for: any injury, loss, or damage to you, your dog, or your property arising from participation in training; any injury, loss, or damage caused by your dog to another person, animal, or property; any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, travel costs, or time; any incidents resulting from failure to supervise or control your dog, or failure to follow instructions.
Training results are not guaranteed. Progress depends on many factors including the dog’s aptitude, motivation, environment, and the owner’s consistency in implementing the training guidance.
For occasional in-person events: If you attend a live workshop or event, you remain responsible for the supervision, control, and safety of your dog at all times. The Company reserves the right to remove a dog from a live session if their behaviour or health is deemed unsuitable or unsafe. No refund will be provided in such cases.
Nothing in this section limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
21. Revisions
These Terms and Conditions may be revised from time to time by updating this posting. You are bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to review the current terms to which you are bound.
22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.
If a dispute arises, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter directly with the Company by contacting us in writing and allowing a reasonable period for response. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
Nothing in this clause limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.
