Many of the problems blamed on ‘over-arousal’ in Detection don’t come from arousal itself, but from trying to train around it, suppress it, or avoid it altogether. The result is often a dog that looks controlled in training, but can’t handle it once search drive kicks in.

In this webinar we’ll look at how arousal shows up in the search, what happens when dogs aren’t taught to function in high arousal states, and how we can work with arousal. The focus is on building dogs that can work with power and purpose — and still perform reliably.
