A webinar is an online seminar that allows attendees from different locations to see and hear a presentation and interact by asking questions etc.

Most of the webinars I run are 1.5 hours - usually one hour presentation and half an hour Q&A.

The  webinar platform I use works on both PC and Mac. You won't need to install anything on your computer in order to participate. You can also attend via your iPad, iPhone or Android device.

Once you have registered via the link provided, you should receive an automated confirmation. This is important as it contains your joining link. Please check your Spam folder if you haven't received this Email within an hour from registration.


Optimise your webinar experience  

Join a little earlier, to be ready by start time in case you have any connectivity or sound issues. Webinars are live events and it wouldn't be fair on the others if we answered admin requests or other messages during this time.  

To prevent issues with video, sound or general smoothness of transmission:  
1) Make sure that your browser is up-to-date, and
2) Maximize the resources available for the webinar - bandwidth and computing power of your device:  Disable programs and browser tabs you won't need during the webinar Make sure that nothing is being downloaded or updated on your device. Reboot your device if necessary.

If the above don’t help enough, change browser and/or change the network if possible (to other Wifi, mobile internet, cable connection - the most stable option you have available).


Webinar recording 

Registering relying solely on the recording is of course possible, but will be at your own risk, in case a recording is not available due to - extremely unlikely - technical difficulties. I also encourage live attendance so you can participate in the interactive Q&A.

If you signed up and couldn't make it to the live presentation, or if you want to revisit, you can simply watch the recording, for which you will receive a link in a follow-up Email from me within 24 hours. You don't need to request this separately, you will be given access to the recording whether or not you have attended, as long as you've been registered.

Currently there is no time limit for your access to webinar recording. There's no risk that you'll completely miss it if you've not caught up in a hurry, and you can revisit it any time by keeping the link.
